A WOOLY, COLORFUL CHRISTMAS...PERHAPS

Hi Everyone,

This has been one busy month.  I hope you are all doing well, that you are ready for Thanksgiving and the joyous weeks that follow preparing for Christmas.

And speaking of Christmas, I've decided do a few handmade pieces for myself and family this year.  It is rare that I ever keep any of my work, but I thought it would be important to do so this year as I would like to hand-down some of my stitched pieces to my children.

Pattern Designers:  Ginger Sanches, Need'l Love, Buttermilk Basin, All Through the Night, Sweetwater and Button Stitch Designs.

I am the first to admit that my plans are big but at least I have a plan.  I figure if I get half done or even a fourth, then mission accomplished...a few completed pieces are better than none.  :-)

The poinsettia design (pictured below) will be attached to this basket and be a part of my front door decor.  I will have to go to Hobby Lobby for greenery and berries.  This project is for certain as the pattern pieces are cut and wool choosen.....I just need to start stitching.....details, details.  :-)

Designer:  Buttermilk Basin

I have a lot of enthusiasm to get all done, but I wonder what the outcome will be.  :-)

Perhaps I'm so wound up because today I received a pattern order....one I've been anticipating.  I am referring to Lisa Bongean of Primitive Gatherings.  Her new pattern designs are just fantastic.  Look at all the stitching fun you can have this winter.

There are a few more, but I have to stop somewhere.  What do you think?  She really went to town on all.

Actually there have been so many new pattern releases this year by so many talented designers.  I think they are all so fabulous and generous with sharing their hard work and talents with us.  I know I've received many hours of stitching joy due to their efforts.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING BLOG FRIENDS
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.  Enjoy your family, your friends, and .....your "stitching" projects.  :-)

Smiles - Valerie

Hi Valerie,
I was taken in by the first picture of the Christmas trees -oh how I would love that pattern, can you share the designer?
I think your goals are going to be met - you are driven by the love of sewing so I can see you finishing it all.
