BASHFUL SHEEP GIVEAWAY-- WOOLY WOOLY GOOD NEWS--MISSING EWE

Hello Everyone,

YES, I'VE BEEN MISSING EWE!   This summer has flown by and I've really missed blogging and reading all of the wonderful blogs that I follow.  However, I do have a really, really good excuse or should I say that I have.....

WOOLY, WOOLY GOOD NEWS!!!

I've been a bit mischievous in keeping this news to myself...two months to be exact.  My good fortune is that I've recently opened a retail "Folk Art Shop" in Waynesville, Ohio where I sell exactly what I love to do.  Most of you know my addiction to wool and wool applique projects.  With that being said, this is exactly what my teeny, tiny 288 sq ft shop is all about........wool applique patterns, hand dyed wool, valdani floss, handmade projects, little notions, and primitive folk art gifts.  I feel a bit sheepish and perhaps a bit bashful for keeping this a secret, especially to those who know me well, but my reasoning was to make certain that all would come together in the end....I just did not want to get ahead of myself (which is easy to do in my case....lol)

PICTURES OF MY SHOP.

Front Window Display

Wool, Wool, and more Wool!

Bundles of fun

 Prim Folk Art gifts.

A few spooky handmade treats.

The little bear seems to be taking it all in.

Wool Applique Patterns

Basketfuls!

Valdani Floss for wool applique

Isn't is nice to know that this wool addiction thing is legal?  The hand dyed wool is by Week's Dye Works and Mary Flanagan.  Will be adding my own when I catch up with life (does that really happen?)  :-)

Inspirational signs to get you were you need to be with your stitching projects.

Now its time to get down to business, the "BASHFUL SHEEP GIVEAWAY......

See the little sheep on the bottom shelf, looking a bit timid?  I can't stop laughing as this is the only picture I have to show you right now. (You can click on the picture for a better view though). However, I do promise to post more pictures of the "Bashful Sheep" this Sunday evening, October 9th.

I would post sooner but look at how overwhelming this weekend is going to be for us in Waynesville, Ohio....Yikes!

This is the real deal.

This fantastic, fun, crazy, event is taking place this weekend (Oct 8th and 9th) as it's time for the 42nd Annual Sauerkraut Festival.  The Sauerkraut Festival serves 7 TONS of sauerkraut and attracts approximately 350,000 visitors each year.  Some of the vendors come from as far as Hawaii, Florida and California to participate.

Back to the giveaway and how to participateJust sign up as a "follower" so that I can place your name into one of the boxes pictured below. The drawing will be next Friday, October 14th.  I will contact you on that day by email.  Please Note:  I will place "Bashful Sheep" Surprise Giveaway Winner" in the subject line of your email.
I stash all of my sewing clutter into these fun Primitive Folk Art Boxes.

Well, I certainly hope you are all doing well and are stitching up many magical projects for yourself, family and friends.

Take care and I will be sure to give you a better view of my little celebration giveaway this Sunday.

Hugs and Blessings....

Valerie  :-)

Your store is so inviting and beautiful. *sigh* It is like a dream store for me... I can just smell all the wonderful wool! Your presentation of your wool bundles and art is just awesome. I wish you were closer to my home!!

The Valdani floss looks extremely interesting. I am just getting familiar with fulling wool and creating with wool applique. I haven't done much research on the floss. I want to use the correct kind. I have to pop over to your Etsy store again and check out the patterns. I'm getting quite a bit of wool in my stash and need to get busy!!

**Best wishes with your festival**... Such excitement!! Will look forward to seeing your posts about it. :)

Oh, Valerie. Wow, how lucky are you to go to a place so wonderful everyday and call it your own. You ARE in wool heaven. Wish I still lived in Ohio so I could visit. It's decorated so nice and seems like a place you could just spend hours looking around and trying not to buy everything. If you know what I mean.
Big Congrats, best of luck and much success.
Smiles and hugs,
Nan
