I was going through my pictures this morning and wanted to share a few of my favorites for the month of July. :-)
Cute As A Button paper mache doll
(1) I recently purchased this whimsical piece from Carol Roll of Nostalgic Folk Art.
Little Dolly, aka "Cute As a Button" resides in my sewing room.
Carol Roll's artwork is completely delightful, detailed, and imaginative. If you click on the above link you will be transported to her website where smiles are guaranteed.
NEXT......
This is the pig I wanted to bring home from our vacation, BUT I live in the suburbs.
(2) I so enjoyed our mini vacation to central Ohio earlier this month (the Amish countryside). Pigs are one of my favorite animals. I just want to hug one! My husband rolls his eyes and laughs as he grew up on a farm as young boy and knows the reality and the true meaning of caring for pigs. :-)
ONE MORE.......
I just cannot get enough of the Amish Farms and countryside. Central Ohio is gorgeous.
So today, just a simple posting for sharing the "SIMPLES" in life....the kind that make you smile.
Take care,
Hugs and Smiles - Valerie

Thanks so much Valerie!
We love your work and are blessed to have the most beautiful runner made by you for a new Christmas tradition on our holiday table.
Your a doll!
I agree, Carol's work is the best the paper clay world has to offer!
Love your work as well Val, and what nice pics of the farms. I too would love to have a petting farm, but not possible here in the city.
I can understand you wanting a pig. I live in the city and I want a black and white cow or an alpaca. Love your last photo.
