SWEET STITCHES and PATTERN GIVEAWAY!

Hello Everyone!

Hope you are all doing well.  I know, I know....I am one slow blogger, but I've been so caught up and rather enthused with  my stitching projects.  The past two months have been about quilting and embroidery work. 

MY QUILT TOP:



This is the perfect wall quilt for my sewing area.  I took this picture a month ago and since then, I've added chocolate and cream colored borders.  Now it just needs to be quilted.

WABBITS and WOOLY PROJECTS

SIGNS OF SPRING?  I am seeing signs of spring.... how about you?  Here is my first glimpse.
 


THIS SWEET FELLOW THINKS I CAN'T SEE HIM.  However, I agree with his thinking as he does blend in nicely with the plants.  I snapped about 10 pictures and he never budged.

PROJECTS I'M WORKING ON FOR MY HOME:

As you all know, we moved to a new home last year. After settling in, I looked around thinking "there are still a few areas that need a splash of something."  So with that being said, I decided to sign up for a BOM club sponsored by Primitive Gatherings.  I thought Evelyn's Album would be my splash of color.  Here are the two blocks I've stitched up so far.

Another project on the burner is WABBITS!  I have the wool applique work done.  I am now working on hand quilting the piece.  I used homespun fabric for the backing ... my the last step will be to bind the piece and display.   



This fun design is by Lynda Hall.  The project can be found in Primitive Quilts and Projects Magazine.

I've been adding new items to my Etsy shop.  Patterns and loads of Valdani (Size 12) spools to be sold as single units.  I am not completely done listing the Valdani, but I'm getting there.

TAKING A SHORT BREAK

 

This is just a simple note to let you know that my Etsy Shop will be closed until February 20th.  I'm taking a short break to catch up with life and so forth.

NEED'L LOVE BOOK SALE

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all doing well.  Where did this month go???  

Today, I have a very purposeful reason for this blog posting. 

I am starting to downsize my Prim Folk Art Pattern Shop.  The shop will continue to run as always, but the plan is to reduce some to allow more time for creating handmade and dyeing wool.
